TRIP DURATION: 4HOURS FOR THE TREK AND 9HOURS FOR THE HIKE
Keep far away from the busy of the tourism area- Cat Ba town to go to the National Park. Stopping on the way for half an hour to visit Hospital Cave. Then follow the trail to do the hike and the trek. Exploring the steep and rugged limestone jungle before having a good view of Cat Ba Island from the viewingpoint. Enjoying bird- watching, bird- singing or squirrel- dancing on the way. Having lunch at one of the most famous local restaurant in Viet Hai fishing village before cycling to Viet Hai Dock to take the boat cruising through Lan Ha Bay to go back to Cat Ba Town( for full day hiking only).
DESCRIPTION
FOR HALF DAY TREKKING
DEPART: 8AM OR 1.00PM→RETURN: 12.00 OR 5PM
PICK UP: FROM THE OFFICE
8AM: Take a car or motorbike to go to the National Park
8.25: Stop to visit Hospital Cave
9.15: Start moving to the National Park
9.30: Start doing the trek
10.45: Reach to the viewingpoint-Ngu Lam(Along the way you will have good chance to enjoy bird-watching,bird-singing and squirrel-dancing)
11.45: You will be at Cat Ba National Park's entrance and 20 minutes to be back to Cat Ba Town
12.00: The trek finishes
FOR FULL DAY HIKING
DEPART: 8AM
RETURN: 5PM
PICK UP: FROM THE OFFICE
8am: Take a car or a bus to the National Park
8.30: Stop at Hospital cave for visiting to discover the history about the war in Vietnam
9.20: Follow the trail to go through the jungle to enjoy bird-watching, bird-singing and squirrel-dancing. Then climb up to one of the highest viewingpoint to enjoy the beauty of landscape around
13.20: Come across Viet Hai fishing village and have lunch at one of the most famous local restaurant.
15.00: Spending 20 minutes on cycling to Viet Hai Dock.
15.40: Get on the boat for cruising through Lan Ha Bay to go back to Cat Ba Town
17.00: The hike finishes

1.Is this a hard trek?
For half day trekking is very easy but for full day is quite hard.
2.For full day trekking, do we have lunch on the way?
We come across Viet Hai fishing village and stop there to have lunch at one of the most famous local restaurant.
3.Do we take the same way to go back?
No, after having lunch in Viet Hai, you cycle to Viet Hai Dock and then take the boat cruising through Lan Ha Bay to go back.
4.Do we have possibility to see any animals?
Yes, if the weather is fine enough. But not much
5.Do we need to bring any things?
Good hiking shoes, good camera and mosquito protection
